US Crypto ETFs Record $116 Million in Net Outflows as…

US-listed spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $116 million in combined net outflows on Thursday, October 29, 2026, as withdrawals from Ethereum and Solana investment products outweighed modest inflows into Bitcoin funds.

According to Farside Investors, spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $17.2 million, marking their fourth consecutive trading session of positive flows. Ethereum ETFs recorded $105.5 million in net withdrawals, while Solana funds lost another $27.7 million.

The divergence highlights contrasting institutional capital movements across major cryptocurrencies, with Bitcoin maintaining limited investor demand while alternative digital asset funds continued experiencing redemptions.

Bitcoin ETFs extend inflow streak despite weaker demand

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded $12.8 million in net inflows, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC with $10.5 million and Bitwise’s BITB with $8.8 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT attracted another $4.2 million, while WisdomTree’s BTCW recorded $3.8 million in withdrawals. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust experienced $15.3 million in net outflows.

Other Bitcoin funds, including ARKB, BTCO, EZBC, BRRR, HODL and GBTC, reported no net movement during the session. Thursday’s $17.2 million inflow represented a substantial slowdown from the $137.3 million recorded on October 28 and $176 million on October 27.

Nevertheless, the four-day inflow streak beginning October 26 accumulated approximately $440.8 million, indicating that Bitcoin investment products continued attracting capital despite weakening daily momentum. Cumulative net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs reached approximately $57.69 billion since their January 2024 introduction.

Ethereum investment products experienced significantly stronger selling pressure. BlackRock’s ETHA registered $71.7 million in withdrawals, while its ETHB fund lost another $15.6 million. Grayscale’s ETHE recorded $15.5 million in outflows, and its Ethereum Mini Trust lost $5.6 million. Fidelity’s FETH was the only fund reporting positive flows, attracting $2.9 million.

The $105.5 million net outflow marked Ethereum ETFs’ fourth consecutive negative session, bringing cumulative withdrawals since October 26 to approximately $275.7 million.

Solana funds extend withdrawals as institutional flows diverge

Solana ETFs also recorded continued redemptions, with Bitwise’s BSOL losing $23.7 million and Grayscale’s GSOL experiencing another $4 million in withdrawals. Other tracked Solana funds reported no net inflows during the session.

The $27.7 million withdrawal followed outflows of $5.7 million on October 28, $19.2 million on October 27 and $8.2 million on October 26, extending Solana’s negative streak to four trading sessions. Combined withdrawals over that period reached approximately $60.7 million.

Despite the recent selling, cumulative net inflows into Solana investment products remained approximately $1.47 billion, reflecting earlier institutional allocations to the cryptocurrency. Across Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana ETFs, the October 29 figures indicate that positive Bitcoin demand was insufficient to offset redemptions elsewhere.

The data also illustrates why aggregate cryptocurrency ETF flows can differ substantially from Bitcoin-specific figures.

While ETF creations and redemptions provide a measurable indication of capital entering or leaving regulated investment vehicles, they do not independently establish broader institutional positioning across spot exchanges, derivatives markets or privately held cryptocurrency investments.
